Detecting Medical Distress with Serial Forced Vital Capacity Monitoring

...FVC can be used as a monitoring tool to identify potential medical issues early on..
— LBSB District

Course Description: This course explores the critical aspect of serial monitoring of Forced Vital Capacity (FVC) to detect emerging medical distress.   FVC, a key indicator of lung function, is monitored serially to assess changes and identify potential medical issues early on. Participants will explore the principles of respiratory muscle training, the significance of FVC in monitoring respiratory health, and the methods and tools used for accurate serial measurements.
